Australian War Memorial - ID Number: P02751.344 Maker: Bean, Charles Edwin Woodrow (C E W) Place made: Australia: Tuggeranong, Australia; Australian Capital Territory Date made: c 1919-1925 Physical description: Black & white Summary: Charles and Effie Bean in the grounds of Tuggeranong Station. Effie is sitting and Charles is standing by her. The homestead and outbuildings can be seen in the background with mountain ranges to the right. One of a series of photographs taken by C E W Bean or members of his family during his time spent at the Tuggeranong Homestead while writing the 'Official History of Australia at War 1914-1918'. The photographs comprise of family, friends, staff and the local region. Photographs from the private collection of C E W Bean held at AWM38 3DRL 6673.
