Earning the Certified Engineering Manager (CEM) recognizes proficiency in the following areas of knowledge: business processes; external enterprise influences; customer focus; people, teamwork and organization; resources; and responsibilities.
CEM is cosponsored by Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) and the Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE).
