Certified Chamber Executive
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Certified Chamber Executive, or CCE, is the only national certification for chamber of commerce professional staff, and is awarded by the American Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE). The CCE program is designed to assess the applicant's knowledge of the four core chamber management areas - leadership, planning, development and finance and administration.
The ACCE states that the designation demonstrates personal commitment to the chamber of commerce profession; dedication to managerial excellence; and leadership. Prospective applicants for the CCE must have six years or more of senior-level chamber of commerce experience and then may begin the application process. The process consists of an essay, exam, and personal interview. The Certified Chamber Executive designation is conferred by the CCE Commission, the body which oversees the certification process.
