Certificate of Education (Secondary)

In British Secondary Education schools, if a student is either incapable or have not reached the levels of GCSE, they would be placed on a Certificate of Education course, also known as the "Entry Level". This is given the level of "Entry" on the qualifications framework. Mostly used for school pupils with learning disability or for juveniles in prisons. Even though it's called 'Entry Level' now, it is not needed as a qualfication requirement to do GCSE.
