[edit] Why stopped?

I think it would be good if this page explained why they stopped the century series and went back to single digit numbers. I have no idea why they did this (I think it was kind of arbitrary and pointless, esp. given the F 117, and what not).

The F- series (among others, such as the B- series) had a number series reset under the 1962 United States Tri-Service aircraft designation system. A75 19:23, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Article name

Shouldn't the title be Century Series, as this is a proper name? I have always seen it published as "Century Series", and it is used that way in a book I have on the topic. - BillCJ 19:40, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Error in Orthographically projected diagram of the F-100 Super Sabre

The front view is of a F-86 Sabre Jet, not the F-100. Someone with a good graphic package and skills could modify this for us. Thank you, LanceBarber 17:44, 3 April 2007 (UTC)

Compare F-86 3-view. I think you'll see a great difference between the two, and that the F-100 image is correct. - BillCJ 17:51, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
