[edit] War?

I tried my best to rewrite/cleanup the totally unsourced entry, but it remains problematic (for one, as being largely an extension of the Central African Republic Civil War and perhaps it should be merged there). One key issue involves War in the title: we already decided not to call the Chadian-Sudanese conflict a war because there was no outright declaration of War. Now, there are news sources who call the Darfur conflict the Darfur War, but I see no proposals to rename it as such. What makes this entry special in that regard? I'll ask some experts to have a look. El_C 04:09, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

involves three nations, neither Second Congo War was declared. This means we would not have "wars" because none are going to be explicitly declared--TheFEARgod (Ч) 12:14, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
Second Congo War isn't a good example. In that case, we had to figure out the locations of three different conflict pages, because nobody could figure out where to create Congo Crisis, and there were some sources that we used as guidance. (See discussion.) I'm still not 100% happy with how the names. Until there are some credible sources describing this using as a proper noun, I think it should be at "conflict" or "crisis". [edit] More info

Not sure if this info goes in this article, or the Chadian-Sudan one, so I thought I'd just put the link here for now. íslenskur fellibylur #12 (samtal) 15:19, 25 November 2006 (UTC)

put it here because the Chad Sudan conflict is now a part of this one. --TheFEARgod (Ч) 10:54, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

What do you know, more info;

"*Central African War: French fighter planes have fired at rebels in northern Central African Republic (CAR) where thousands have fled fighting in recent weeks. (BBC)" Unless if someone adds all this info in, I think I'll get it added in a week or two. I'm just busy. So if someone else wants to add the new info in, go for it. íslenskur fellibylur #12 (samtal) 20:50, 30 November 2006 (UTC)

More;

I was gonna add all this in, but I had to go to bed as soon as i started. Maybe tomorrow. íslenskur fellibylur #12 (samtal) 03:19, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
