Talk:Center for Wooden Boats

Sorry about the quality of some of the photos - the weather really wasn't very good for this type of photography. I'll try to make it back on a clear day ( which could be months ), but in the meantime the article is probably better off with some photos of the place than without. They're a great addition. A couple pictures makes a big difference!

I believe WoodenBoat.jpg is not part of CWB, but actually an exhibit of NW Seaport, and may be more appropriate on their page. Also, I don't think it's "stranded". IIRC, the signage indicates it's for training, although I don't think it's used that way much these days. I climb on it with my kids. :-)

If you get down to CWB again, a photo of a BJK might be a nice addition. Also, CWB surely has a large collection of photographs, and may be willing to license some of them in a way that will work for Wikipedia.

They are great pictures, but they are all marked on their respective pages as "non-commercial use only", which is a no-no.
I've put some free-use images on Commons (see commons category linked from the article). They are probably not quite as good, but they are decent. Feel free to use them if the licensing issue is not promptly sorted out on these. - Jmabel | Talk 03:35, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
Jmabel I think [[1]] is a particularly good one, and I have boldly replaced the previous pictures with that one. JBazuzi 23:24, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
