[edit] Coco Crisp? Notable?

"After missing most of the first half of the season, Crisp returned to the lineup, but found himself batting eighth." This qualifies him as "notable" or was it something else? Career .287 BA? 65% stolen base success rate?

He may indeed end up being notable, but give him a chance to prove it first. The fact that he plays for your favorite team doesn't make him notable. :-\

[edit] Notable Players

The list of notable center fielders is debatable. It has the all-time greats up there with the likes of Willy Taveras. This list should be narrowed down to feature only the best.
