Centurion Academy, located in Centurion, South Africa, was established in 1999. The academy offers tuition in Afrikaans and English.

CENTURION ACADEMY Centurion Akademie was founded in September 1999, at the turn of the century, with the initial name of "Centurion Akademie 2000". Centurion Akademie is a registered company under the name of Centurion Akademie (Pty) Ltd (registration number 1999/024870/07). The Akademie is also registered by SAQA as a Provider under ID Number 1578, by the Department of Labour under registration number 01927332300 and is registered with the Department of Education as a private higher education institution under the Higher Education Act, 1997. Registration Certificate No. 01HB03.

VISION

Centurion Akademie endeavours to be part of realising the national vision of educating the youth of South Africa and to equip them with knowledge and skills to obtain work, to become entrepreneurs, to develop our fatherland to remain the leading industrial, agricultural, business and managerial country on the African Continent.

MISSION

To fulfil our vision, Centurion Akademie is an outcomes based institution providing: • practical • market related and • managerial education to students of all population groups for a dynamic future in the new millennium.

GOALS

To realise the vision and mission, Centurion Academy strives : • to present registered and accredited programmes • to appoint well educated staff • to provide the necessary resources to matriculants with or without a university exemption, who do not wish to, or can not, follow university studies • to equip them with practical knowledge and skills • to obtain work in the open market.

All these goals are focussed on transformation, i.e. by being sensitive to issues of diversity such as poverty, inequality, race, gender, language, age, disability and other factors.
