Centre de Flacq

Centre de Flacq (French for the "centre of Flacq") is a town and the capital of the district of Flacq in east-central Mauritius. Flacq is connected to the road that links with the capital city of Port Louis and provides access to the coastal road.the first co educational secondary school in centre de flacq was opened by a Ceylonese (Sri Lankan) who came to settle in the island in the mid 1940s (V C Chellappoo)after a career in the British army. Flacq has one of the oldest open market which is situated behind one of the oldest court house.
