The Zentrum für Astronomie Heidelbeg der Universität Heidelberg (Center of Astronomy of the University of Heidelberg) in Heidelberg, was founded 2005, is an association of former state research institutes : the Astronomical Calculation Institute, the Institute of Theoretical Astrophysics and the Landessternwarte Heidelberg-Königstuhl (the Heidelberg-Königstuhl State Observatory).
