Center for Watershed Ecology

The Watershed Ecology Center of USC Upstate's mission is to collect, analyze and distribute sound scientific information on the ecology of the Southeast Region. Special emphasis is placed on watershed conservation, education, water quality and the study of organisms living in the area surrounded by a watershed. The Ecology Center serves as a storehouse for regional ecological information, providing education and research assistance for individuals, communities, local schools and governmental organizations. The Watershed Ecology Center is also dedicated to providing research opportunities for the faculty and students at the University of South Carolina Upstate and other regional institutions.
