Center for Research and Education in Optics and Lasers

The Center for Research and Education in Optics and Lasers (or CREOL) is a research center within the Orlando, Florida-based College of Optics and Photonics, a graduate college for optical science and engineering at the University of Central Florida.

FPCE, the Florida Photonics Center of Excellence, is also a research centers within the college.

As of 2004, it has 42 faculty members and faculty with joint appointments, 58 research scientists and 158 graduate students with research activities covering all aspects of optics, photonics, and lasers.
