The Center for Indian Military History (CIMH) is an online organisation started by a few individuals with an interest in Indian Military History. The focus of CIMH would exclusively be on Military History of the Indian subcontinent going back to the medieval ages right down to the present.

The intent of CIMH is to make people aware of the immensely long and rich military tradition of India.

The CIMH has various areas in which work is being done namely:

  • E-Document Repository
  • Warrior Kings and Queens of India
  • Battles
  • Indian Army Regiments 1947-2004
  • Indian Army Brigades 1947-2004
  • Warships of the Indian Navy
  • The Maharaja Ranjit Singh Project
  • Chattrapati Shivaji Project
  • Forts
