Center Theatre Group

Center Theatre Group is a non-profit arts organization located in Los Angeles, California. The group is the largest theatre company in Los Angeles, with a subscription audience of more than 63,000 in 2005-2006 for their three theatres, the Ahmanson Theatre, the Mark Taper Forum, and the Kirk Douglas Theatre. It was founded in 1967, and is located at the Los Angeles Music Center. Center Theatre Group is a member of the League of Resident Theatres. [1]
Michael Ritchie is currently Artistic Director of CTG. He took over in 2005 from Gordon Davidson, who was Artistic Director of the Taper for 38 years, the Ahmanson for 16 years, and the Douglas for 1 year.
