Removing Warnings
You have removed warnings & you have inserted incorrect heights into articles which is vandlism. DXRAW 21:05, 19 September 2006 (UTC)
Please cite
Please do not introduce or change any more heights without providing a reliable source. Please see WP:CITE and WP:RS (also, WP:V). Note that celebheights.com is not considered a reliable source. Thanks. --Yamla 14:31, 22 September 2006 (UTC)
You said: "I only actually wrote in 1 height recently, but I've added a source for that, and a couple of others. I've read the articles you gave me, but could you please tell me why celebheights doesn't count as reliable, even if is simply repeating a quote? Cheers."
- I should point out that there's nothing wrong with celebheights.com, by the way. It serves an important niche. My only claim is that it is not a reliable source. In many cases, the site cites a reliable source such as a newspaper article. In this case, though, Wikipedia should use the actual newspaper article itself. In other cases, the website lists several contradictory heights (such as for Brad Pitt). In any case, the web site does not seem to be carefully vetted for quality control (this, indeed, is not its intention) and does not rely on primary sources. I'm happy to go into more detail if you wish but I would advise that you take a read of WP:RS and let me know why you think the website may be suitable as a reliable source if this is still your contention. --Yamla 16:56, 22 September 2006 (UTC)
Thank you! Your citation in the article on Nicole Kidman, while to a forum, linked to a transcript of a statement made by Kidman herself and counts as a good and reliable citation. Much appreciated! --Yamla 17:05, 22 September 2006 (UTC)
Oh god.... Halbared is back... --Cookie 21:26, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
Sorry dude I was j/k, cuz you and Halbared BOTH use Celebheights.com and created controversies over wrestlers heights. =P Lol! I dont believe in the Evil Third Party Site fairy tale. Hehehe. The Evil Third Party Site fairy tale isnt true!! Dont fall for it!!!01:01, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
Sockpuppetry between you and User:Halbared?
Yes i would like to talk about sockpuppetry. I believe you and User: Halbared could be sockpuppets. And FYI, me and User: the pink panther are NOT sockpuppets. She is my sister. Also...even if she was my sock, which she isnt, just check the contributions of both my account and hers. Most socks have one account that is used mainly for vandalism--at one point or another--and clearly, these two do not. So whichever you believe--that she is my sister, or my sock--is fine with me. I wont get in trouble, because i dont create edit wars or content disputes. However... Neither you nor User:Halbared seem to be able to say the same, do you? You both constantly create content disputes AND edit wars. Would you like to talk further? We can. Thank you, --Cookie 22:28, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
This is why i said it was a possibility that you were a sockpuppet. Not an obvious sockpuppet. Not a sockpuppet. A possible sockpuppet. I have checked your edit history. And [User:Halbared]]'s edit history. As of right now, i do not have sufficient proof that you are sockpuppets. Therefore, my suspicions are unprovable. Now. I really do want to talk about me and User: the pink panther, and make it as clear as possible that we are not sockpuppets. Do you wish to go further on your claims with this matter? If so, contact me, please. (Note: I am not argumentative, but merely trying to get some answers. Next time you accuse someone of acting a certain way, please make sure it is accurate.) Thank you, --Cookie 01:33, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
Excuse me... But i believe i told you already, i am not pressing any further on the matter between you and Halbared because i do not have sufficient proof. You just seem likely because you are causing the same problems. Personally, i believe you ARE sockpuppets. But i have nothing to show for my suspicions, other than you cause too much trouble and it is similar on both accounts, but... That isnt what i asked you. I asked you, Are you going to go further on the accusations between me and the pink panther? Thank you, --Cookie 02:39, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
It is important to keep a cool head, especially when responding to comments against you or your edits. Personal attacks and disruptive comments only escalate a situation; please keep calm and remember that action can be taken against other parties if necessary. Attacking another user back can only satisfy trolls or anger contributors and leads to general bad feeling. Please try to remain civil with your comments. Thanks! Also... You dont have proof, either, that me and the pink panther are sockpuppets. How can you possibly go further with that matter? She is my sister, for the second or third time, buddy. And as for the sockpuppetry...neither of us have posted anything worthy of sockpuppetry accusations. Please keep those rude/maddening comments OFF of my talk page. Thank you, --Cookie 14:41, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
"Simply for the fact that you annoyed me by posting utter nonsense, I might pursue accusations against you and the pink panther..."
Two things about that.
- You were being pretty rude by saying i "annoyed you by posting utter nonsense". It wasnt nonsense, but questioning sockpuppetry.
- You cannot accuse someone of sockpuppetry simply for te reason that they "annoyed" you. That is basically a personal attack, not a legitimate accusation. I will now end this conversation, and you'd best do the same, seeing as i'm not able to pursue any further on the sockpuppetry case between you and Halbared and you are not able to pursue an further on the sockpuppetry case between myself and the pink panther.
Thank you, it was good talking with you! --Cookie 01:19, 8 October 2006 (UTC)
