[edit] Seriously doubt the PD claim

I seriously doubt the PD claim on this photo. Photographs of old sculptures are not automatically in the public domain (even though photographs of old two-dimensional works are). It was uploaded by a barely active user on the Swedish Wikipedia, during a time that the sculpture itself was missing (stolen). If the picture was taken by the person who uploaded it, then that person would have had to have taken the picture at least two years before uploading it. Seems unlikely to me. I think we'd have a perfectly valid fair use claim to use the museum's own photo of the sculpture, but fair use and PD are two different matters. -- Jmabel | Talk 05:36, 28 January 2006 (UTC)
