Celinda Lake

Celinda Lake is a prominent pollster and political strategist for the Democratic Party in the U.S.A.
She has worked for several influential organizations and individuals including AFL-CIO, SEIU, Emily's List, The White House Project, Planned Parenthood, the Democratic National Committee (DNC), Governor Janet Napolitano, Senator Barbara Mikulski, Senator Debbie Stabenow and Senator Blanche Lincoln.
Lake focuses especially on women candidates and women's concerns. She co-authored a book, What Women Really Want with Republican pollster Kellyanne Conway, that examines the way women are changing the political landscape in America.
Lake and her firm, Lake Research Partners, are also known for their work on several other issues including healthcare, education and the environment.
Lake has a Masters degree in Political Science and Survey Research from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. Smith College, where Lake did her undergraduate work, awarded Lake the Distinguished Alumna Medal.
Lake is a native of Montana.
