[edit] Bio
Celice was chronologically born in Agustria (of Grandbellian heritage) between Chapter 2 and 3 in the game. During his infant times, his mother Deirde was captured by Manfloy, leaving him without mother. Eventually, as Sigurd approached Barhara, Celice was sent into Isaac under the protection of Oifaye and Shanan. Eventually he learnt on how Sigurd perished in battle.
Celice grew up in the town of Tilnanogue in northern Isaac, along with Skasaher and Lakche, the children of Ayra (or Roddlevan and Radney, in case Ayra didn't bear children), and Rana, Aideen's daughter (or Mana). As the Grandbellian Empire succumbed into the evil influence of Loputousu, the tales of Sigurd became legendary and he was considered as a hero. This affected Celice as he was referred as the 'Child of Light'. He joined the Liberation Army led by Shanan, but was eventually cornered by Danan of Dozel. Desperately, Celice and his friends struck out of Tirnanog to retaliate. Helped with a timely reinforcement by Oifaye along with Lester, Rana's brother (or Dimna), and Delmud, Lachesis' son (or Tristan), Celice gained an upper hand. He met Levin afterwards and was asked to protect Julia, a mysterious girl whom Levin has been taking care of.
He soon gained the help of either Johan or Johalvier (Danan's sons, only one of them joins out of their love with Lakche, as well as Arthur, Tiltyu's son (or Amid), and Fee, Fury and (presumably) Levin's daughter (or Femina). Celice now gains enough power to drive away Danan from Isaac. Levin told him more about Sigurd and suggested that they join up with Shanan, along with Prince Leaf of Lenster, son of Cuan and Ethlin, as well as Celice's cousin.
Meeting up with Shanan, Celice was also joined by a thief named Patty, who happened to be Briggid's daughter (or Daisy). Celice made haste to Alster where he met and helped Leaf, Fin and Nanna, Delmud's sister (or Janne), to defeat Blume. Along the way, he's joined with Tinny, Arthur's sister (or Linda); Ares, Eltoshan's son; and Lynn, Sylvia's daughter (or Laylea). Together with his new allies, Celice drove away Blume from Alster.
Celice then gave pursuit to Blume, joined by Faval, Patty's brother (or Asaello). Reaching Manster, Celice finished Blume for good, but had a premonition of an upcoming battle against a certain 'Julius'. In Leaf's favor, Celice pushed through Thracia, getting the help of Sety, Fee's brother (or Hawk).
During the ensuing war against Thracia, Celice was joined by Hannibal, Thracia's Great General, as well as Corple, Lynn's brother (or Sharlow), and Althena, Leaf's sister. Eventually, after subduing Thracia, Celice set his sights to Grandbell, to claim what's rightfully his. But as he arrived to the Miletos district, Julia went missing.
En route to Chalpy, Celice had a hard fight against the nefarious Prince Julius and his friend, Ishtar. However, for some reason, they pulled back. Before he reached Chalpy, Celice spotted several dark mages pursuing a bishop and several children. He cut through the mages and rescued the group. Afterwards, Celice was given Sigurd's sword, the Tyrfing, as a token of gratitude.
Eventually, he faced Alvis, Sigurd's killer, in the castle of Chalpy. Celice would've perished if it's not because of Tyrfing. In the end, Celice came out triumphant and avenged his father. For some reason, he went back to the cliff where he received the sword. Soon, he met the ghosts of Sigurd and Deirde, telling him that the war is not over. Celice himself didn't quite understand why he felt empty even though he avenged Sigurd.
Celice's real trial came when he had to face the whole Grandbell dukedoms to unify it. On the way, Levin told him the story of the previous war and Celice learnt that Julia was necessary to end the battle and was also his sister. But when he met Julia, she was already brainwashed. Celice had his friends hold off Julia while he went off to Velthomer, facing the culprit behind all the chaos, Manfloy. After killing him, Celice tried to snap Julia back to her senses, and he did. Bringing her to Velthomer, unlocking the sacred scroll of Narga, Celice fought Prince Julius, who was possessed by the Dark Lord Loputousu. After a long, gruelling battle, Celice was once again triumphant. He is then installed as the new Emperor of Grandbell and with an Empress (if paired up) along with Julia by his side.
