First published in November 2006 by ABC Books, Celebrity Homecooked is a collection of recipes and food memories from over 50 celebrities, including Rolf Harris, Collette Dinnigan, Amanda Keller, Jay Laga'aia, Pat Rafter, Bianca Dye, Kieren Perkins and Red Symons.

The stories reveal which celebrity loves eating Witchetty grubs, has shared a meal of goat with Gurkha soldiers, and has had a close encounter with a fruit bat. Recipes range from Kate Ceberano’s take on Meatballs, to Molly Meldrum’s twist on everyone's favourite Pumpkin Soup; to Ken Done's Pomegranate Koshaf and Richard Stubbs's colourful Grilled Salmon dinner party.

The authors, Dylan Brookes and Chloe Waterlow, work in ABC Television publicity, and were inspired to compile this collection as a result of conversations they had with celebrities in the course of their work.
