Firstly, with Goings-on, I guess that's fair enough. It would be wise though in future to discuss proposals like that on the talk page of the article, so that the editors who read it can comment - many of us don't read the Village Pump, which is why there was no reaction there. Your edit did wreck the page, and from all you've said so far, it just seems that you've seriously misunderstood the purpose of the page. Yes, it's now being discussed - and thank you for that - but please don't accuse me of not participating in that discussion.

Secondly, the album namespace just duplicates the Wikimedia Commons. Creating a place to put all our images and sort them appropriately is just what that was created for not all that long ago - duplicating it on Wikipedia is really quite unnecessary.

I'm glad you're taking the time to read policies and make an effort around here, but I just think it would be better to wait a little while longer, when there's two cases of proposing drastic changed based on apparent misunderstandings of fairly fundamental things. I've moved my vote to neutral, as I don't want to be too harsh, so it's your call, though. Ambi 10:37, 7 September 2005 (UTC)
