Cedric Makiadi

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Cedric Makiadi (born 1984 in Kinshasa) is a Congan football player, who currently plays for VfL Wolfsburg. Although he was born in DR Congo, Makiadi and his family moved to Germany when he was eight years of age [1]. There were calls for Makiadi to be called up to the German national side [2], and he even rejected a call to the Congan national side for the African Cup of Nations, furthering speculation that he was in line for a call up [3]. However, on 17 February 2007, Makiadi announced he was declaring for DR Congo [4].
