[edit] I think I'll get something going on this comment page...

Well, since no-one has left any comments yet, ㅠ_ㅜ I just thought I'd start the conversation rolling by telling the world how much I rule. ㅋㅋ Feel free to discuss this topic.ㅎㅎ --Ce garcon 07:46, 18 Sep 2004 (UTC)

[edit] hello

hello, good to see another person working on Anti-Japanese_sentiment The article is really screwd up and needs a major overhaul. I've added something to the talk page over there and I hope we can make it nice and informative. I'm sure your expertise is on the Korean side of affairs :)Wareware 06:40, 9 Oct 2004 (UTC)

[edit] VeryVerily

Dia duit! Sorry, not that much of a Gaelic speaker, although my grandparents were from the Gaeltacht.

VeryVerily is a user that has been banned before for breaking Wikipedia rules. The arbitrators are actually holding a hearing on him right now - Wikipedia:Requests_for_arbitration/Gzornenplatz,_Kevin_Baas,_Shorne,_VeryVerily, which will probably result in a probation period being put on him whereas if he breaks the Wikipedia:Three revert rule he will be immediately suspended. The wheels of Wikipedia justice grind slowly so it will probably be a few days (weeks?) before he's reined in for his behavior. Ruy Lopez 08:39, 25 Oct 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Article Licensing

Hi, I've started a drive to get users to multi-license all of their contributions that they've made to either (1) all U.S. state, county, and city articles or (2) all articles, using the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike (CC-by-sa) v1.0 and v2.0 Licenses or into the public domain if they prefer. The CC-by-sa license is a true free documentation license that is similar to Wikipedia's license, the GFDL, but it allows other projects, such as WikiTravel, to use our articles. Since you are among the top 2000 Wikipedians by edits, I was wondering if you would be willing to multi-license all of your contributions or at minimum those on the geographic articles. Over 90% of people asked have agreed. For More Information:

To allow us to track those users who muli-license their contributions, many users copy and paste the "DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual" template into their user page, but there are other options at Template messages/User namespace. The following examples could also copied and pasted into your user page:

Option 1
I agree to multi-license all my contributions, with the exception of my user pages, as described below:
DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual

OR

Option 2
I agree to multi-license all my contributions to any U.S. state, county, or city article as described below:
DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual

Or if you wanted to place your work into the public domain, you could replace "DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual" with "MultiLicensePD". If you only prefer using the GFDL, I would like to know that too. Please let me know what you think at my talk page. It's important to know either way so no one keeps asking. -- Ram-Man (comment| talk)

[edit] Speaking Irish...

Considering you can speak Irish, you're either highly strange or Irish. If the latter is the case, you might want to head over to Wikipedia:Irish wikipedian's notice board sometime. If its the former, you might want to head over anyway and scare us all. And of courses there always the ga: wikipedia, but you might be on there already, I can't be bothered checking :-) Kiand 15:24, 17 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Ach tá i bhfad níos mó ná 20,000 daoine a bhfuil Gaeilge acu. Sin iad na daoine a bhfuil Gaeilge an príomhtheanga acu. Bhí scéal sa nuacht ann go bhfuil Gaeilge cuíosach maith ag beagnach milliún daoine sa tír seo, ach ní bhaineann siad úsáid as an teanga go minic. Cinnte tá an rialtas freagrach don fadhb seo.

Hey, are you willing to help out in the cleanup of History of Korea (1900-1950) article? --Humble Guy 11:01, May 16, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] m:Wikijunior_project_Nikki_character_designs#Least_favourite

The deadline for using our US$10000 grant from the Beck Foundation, for publishing a Wikijunior book is December. Thus, we need to narrow the competition for Kiki artist down to as few contestants as possible. I'm asking you and anyone that's already discussed current designs to list their three least favourite creations, as votes for elimination. -- user:zanimum

[edit] Wikimedia UK/Wikimania 2006

Hi, this is a circular to Wikipedians in Ireland to draw your attention to Wikimedia UK, where the establishment of a local Wikimedia chapter for the United Kingdom (and possibly for the Republic of Ireland) is being discussed. See the talk page, as well as the mailing list; a meetup will take place to discuss matters in London in September, for anyone who can get there. On another topic, plans are being drawn up for a UK bid for Wikimania 2006, which would be conveniently close to Ireland. On the other hand, Dublin's bid was one of the final three last year - might we bid again? --Kwekubo 03:47, 31 August 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Wikimedia UK meeting

Hi Ce garcon, there will probably be a meeting for the purpose of discussing Wikimedia UK this Sunday, which you might like to attend. You could add your name there if so. Cormaggio @ 23:50, 5 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Wikimedia UK

You have expressed an interest in Wikimedia UK. Just to let you know I've posted a draft Memorandum of Association and Articles of Association of the proposed "Wikimedia UK" charitable company on Wikimedia UK/Memorandum of Association and Wikimedia UK/Articles of Association. It is proposed that these will receive initial approval by interested parties at a meeting on 27 November. I will put together a brief agenda for the more formal aspects of that meeting soon. Memo and Arts of Association are a company's constitution, and need to be agreed before the company is formed (though they can be changed at a later date). Please feel free to comment on the relevant talk pages (I'd rather the proposed drafts are left unedited so that it is easy to see what is going on) - particularly if there is something there that you would disagree with at the meeting, details of which can be found on the Wikimedia UK page on Wikimedia Meta-Wiki. Kind regards, jguk 19:17, 15 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Review of zh.wikinews pre-launch

Hi!

Would you please review the pre-launch of the Chinese edition at m:New language pre-launch#Chinese(中文)? Many things have changed over the time since this edition was proposed, including some of the requirement pages, and I would like to have this updated before I request the edition be created. - Amgine / talk 16:20, 19 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image Tagging Image:Song Hyo Won.jpg

Warning sign
This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Song Hyo Won.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use GFDL-self to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as article name or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Dethomas 23:54, 14 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Shanghai GM

I'd like to know why you added the logo of Buick as the logo of Shanghai GM. I took out your edit and replaced it with the actual logo of Shanghai GM. Click here. Here you say that this is the logo of Shanghai GM but it actually isn't. Well just had to let you know. Check two you 02 September 2006

[edit] Marmot's Hole AfD

Hi Ce garcon,

I thought I should let you know that the article you created on The Marmot's Hole has been nominated for deletion. I'll try to stem the tide, but if you could drop by Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Marmot's Hole and add your insights, that would be great. Cheers, -- Visviva 14:04, 24 November 2006 (UTC)

PS I guess you haven't been very active recently, but when you're back please feel free to join Wikipedia:WikiProject Korea and maybe choose a working group or two. Happiness! Visviva
