The image is correct. Just use Kirchoff's Laws and Ohm's Law:
Itot = I1 + I2 (sum of current flowing through parallel branches must equal total current)
I1 * R1 = I2 * R2 (voltage drop across parallel branches are the same)
I1 = I2 * (R2/R1) = (Itot - I1) * (R2/R1)
Expand, collect terms, solve for I1:
I1 = Itot * R2/(R1+R2)
Substitute and solve for I2:
I2 = Itot * R1/(R1+R2)
