Content moved here from Cavia (software) talk page

In response to the edit-comment (19. Feb 2006), Cavia wasn't named after the animal it was named after Caviar (Engrish anyone?) as evidenced by the company's homepage. --84.184.111.162 10:49, 14 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Naming of resulting merged article

Generally it's considered bad to put "inc", "corp" etc into the title of an article. In this particular case if it is removed it steps on the article about the rodent. So do you guys think this title is better than "cavia, inc", or worse? Maury 16:17, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

"cavia, inc" is the better name, despite the example set by Square Co., Ltd., cavia is a company not a software, as such cavia (software) is a wrong name. I wouldn't mind either if we overwrite the rodents, since they originally where just a redirect to Guinea pig where to we can put on of the nice little directions this article currently has. --Anibas 16:26, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
