Caversham (soccer)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Caversham is a soccer club in Dunedin, New Zealand. They are named for a suburb to the southwest of Dunedin's city centre, best known for its international sports venue Carisbrook. Caversham, however, are based not there but at Tonga Park, located one kilometre to the south.

Caversham competed in the former New Zealand national league briefly during the 1980s, and had their best season in the national knockout Chatham Cup competition in 2006, when they were defeated 4-0 in the semi-final by Wellington's Western Suburbs.
