[edit] Trivia
This episode is notorious for being originally broadcast with a laugh track, the only Twilight Zone episode to feature one. The reason for the soundtrack is that this episode was intended as a backdoor pilot for a regular comedy series featuring the Cavender character.
As of September 2006, it is the lowest-rated Twilight Zone episode on TV.com.
