The Cavapoo is a type of dog that is a cross between a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a Poodle. They are part of the "designer dog" trend of "fashionable" mixed-breeds. Breeders will often charge very high prices for Cavapoos, and some breeders charge upwards of US$1,500.00 for a puppy.

Cavapoos are known for there soft, flowing, poodle-like hair. Periodic grooming of the breed is highly recommended. Frequent knotting of hair can also contribute to a problem where Cavapoos toenails become snagged in their fur. If this should occur, it is important to gently pull the hair away from the area where the nail is caught.
