[edit] ?-? artical

Thanks for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thanks. ---J.Smith 03:31, 19 February 2006 (UTC)

Don't get put off by that message. You have a valid question in that article, but try asking it at the Language reference desk. You're much more likely to get an answer there. -- Daverocks (talk) 03:48, 19 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks

Thanks a lot both of you. I want to leave it as it is, if you allow me. If you want to know, it is aearly-alpha stage of a game I'm building. It starts on http://www.highsolution.us

I know the answer for it, I'm just making the question there, as I think it's a good place for me. I hope you can all remember what wiki is before doing anything.

Thanks again.

Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles. If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page and make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. Naconkantari e|t||c|m 04:03, 19 February 2006 (UTC)

You are asking me something, I didn't ask you anything. I will do what you've requested, but I'm just asking you to read and pay attention, after your request.

[edit] RE: respect

I don't like the Test templates that much, they're too impersonal. They don't provide the necessary information you needed to know, which is why I came in. By the way, Naconkantari is right, you shouldn't remove speedy delete tags from articles. I'm being a bit of a hypocrite here, as some of my earlier contributions show me removing speedy delete tags from articles, but I learnt from my mistakes, just as you are here. Regarding ?-?, I like those kind of wiki-games, but they don't belong in the article namespace, which is why I voted delete on the AfD. Other than that, please don't let other users scare you off. People are too mean to newbies these days. I know you have good intentions, and I'm trying to show you the best way for you to edit. -- Daverocks (talk) 04:32, 19 February 2006 (UTC)

Well, I understand that, but I'm no wikipedia expert, I may be just a wikipedian newbie. That's why I accepted his request, because I know he is right. But I think we shouldn't pinch our nose in other people before knowing why.

--Cacumer 04:35, 19 February 2006 (UTC)

Also, Template:Hangon is only suitable for pages that are being speedy deleted. This is not being speedied anymore, but just put up on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. That is why I removed the template. If you feel the need to contest the AfD, vote your oppose on its relevant page, which you did. -- Daverocks (talk) 04:38, 19 February 2006 (UTC)
Oh, ok, I'm sorry. I'll remove the hangon myself right now. --Cacumer 04:40, 19 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] RE: talk

Sure, my addy on gtalk is davidrox [a t] gmail [d o t] com. Replace the "[a t]" with "@" and "[d o t]" with ".", obviously. I just formatted it like that to prevent spambots from picking it up. -- Daverocks (talk) 04:43, 19 February 2006 (UTC)

By the way, I'm not online that often. -- Daverocks (talk) 04:44, 19 February 2006 (UTC)

Oh, ok, I didn't know formatting like that was to go against spies. Cool. I've already added ya, just waiting to start contact and conversation now. :)

--Cacumer 04:47, 19 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] sorry ...

About your article. Perhaps you might find it best to recreate it in the User: namespace? :)

Don't mean to be a killjoy, but AfD does set precedent, and if we kept your article, we'd have to ... oh god, I'm turning into my high school principal. "If we did it for you, we'd have to do it for everyone." I hated that phrase.

But anyway. Yeah. Userspace is good. Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia! :)

[edit] no problem

Perfect. I'll do that. Thanks so much for all you guys. I know you just wanted best for society, I just hope we can get this lot better together. :) --Cacumer 06:02, 19 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] calling

I'm carrying on the thread of your reply on my talk page :)
Adrian Lamo ·· 06:23, 19 February 2006 (UTC)

Ok, I'll just make this less flashy, hehe. :D --Cacumer 06:27, 19 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] g-talk

You wanted to g-talk. I sent you an invite.... ---J.Smith 07:32, 19 February 2006 (UTC)

Holy, I wonder why I stil haven't got it. Did you send to cacumer@gmail.com ?

I think I've never got an invitation before...

[edit] Wikilinks

I noticed in most of your contributions that you often make use of wikilinks. However, I would be careful not to overlink things (i.e. when you're putting a link around the word "any"). You may want to check out WP:CONTEXT which explains how you should only make links to articles that are relevant to the context of the article. On your user page, of course, it's entirely up to you what you want to put. Thanks, JHMM13 (T | C) 23:00, 19 February 2006 (UTC)

Agreed. Thanks. --Cacumer 12:17, 20 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Wiki marketing

I moved the Wiki marketing page to User:Cacumer/Wiki marketing as it clearly did not belong in the main articlespace. It was either that or it being deleted, and I figured since it's something you're working on, you'd probably rather have it stick around. --Cyde Weys 05:13, 20 February 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for your attention, couldn't have been better. :) --Cacumer 12:18, 20 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Signature

In order to get my signature the way it is, I entered this into the signature line:

[[User:JHMM13|JHMM13]] ([[User talk:JHMM13|T]] | [[Special:Contributions/JHMM13|C]]) [[Image:Flag of the United States.svg|25px|<nowiki>]] </nowiki>

Then check out "Raw signature." I'm sure you can figure out what most of that stuff does, and where you can substitute your name/flag for mine. Once you do that, it will automatically put in what you want for the four tildes. Be sure to chat my talk page if you've got any questions. JHMM13 (T | C) 15:26, 20 February 2006 (UTC)

Thanks a lot! :)
You're welcome. JHMM13 (T | C) 20:06, 20 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Rename

I've moved the user and talk pages for you and deleted the redirect from your old id to new. You would have to manually correct the red links on your userpage. Regards, =Nichalp «Talk»= 16:22, 11 March 2006 (UTC)

Thanks, that was fast! o_O --caue 16:24, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
