The Caulfield Guineas is a Group 1 thoroughbred horse race held over 1600 metres (approx 1 mile) at set weights for 3 year old horses. The race is held each year as part of the Spring Carnival at Caulfield Racecourse in Melbourne Australia. Prize money in 2006 is AUD$1.0 million.
