This template installs a default message after use of {{catlst}} to tag category page with a header 

when used to create and add a duplicative list of 'parent category links' for navigation along the top of a category page.

Why

The default skin hides categories from most users along the page bottom, and this will aid navigation greatly. Plus it's a more visible form on other skins as well. // FrankB 03:16, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
