[edit] Not True
Notice - while Rocko and SpongeBob have absolutly NO human characters whatsoever (with the exeption of the live-action SpongeBob sequences), you'll note that Blik, Gordon and Waffle are the only over-intelligent animals regularly appearing on the show (with the exeption of the newts and bear in the theme song). catscrathc rules!!!
[edit] Reaction
Shouldn't there be a section saying whether people liked it or hated it? Something like professional reviews? Cfive 03:33, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Similarities
Why is this in the article? Why talk about how one character is smart, like another character on another show.. or another character is fat, like a fat character on another show.. Couldn't this be done with any cartoon in television history? Or every sitcom in history, for that matter? If there was a point to pointing this out, I wouldn't have a problem with it.. but as is, it just seems to be taking up space. Solkaige 08:23, 5 May 2006 (UTC)
OK, I moved it here for the time being. If there was an accusation that it was actually copying one of these other shows it might make sense, but these characters have existed longer than most of the other shows mentioned here so that can't be the case. Also characters being "Smart" or "selfish" is pretty much standard television writing. Solkaige 22:45, 7 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Similarity
- Blik is selfish like Blooregard Q. Kazoo of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends and Eddy of Ed, Edd n Eddy.
- Gordon is smart like Tucker of Danny Phantom, Edd of Ed, Edd n Eddy, Velma of Scooby-Doo, Kimiko of Xiaolin Showdown, Jimmy Neutron of The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, Mac of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, Irwin of The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, Wanda and AJ of The Fairly OddParents, and Dr. Floyd of The Radio Adventures of Dr. Floyd.
- Waffle is least intelligent like Ed of Ed, Edd n Eddy, Stimpy of The Ren and Stimpy Show, Goofy of old Disney cartoons, Cosmo of The Fairly OddParents and Patrick of SpongeBob SquarePants.
- Hovis bears a striking resemblance to Jerry of Totally Spies! except that he has black hair.
- Bootsy seems to have the Ben 10 character Fourarms' strength.
- Mrs. Cramdilly is similar to Aunt May of Spider-Man.
- The ghost featured in Clan Destiny is a reference to Danny Phantom.
- Squeakus is a bullying mouse and really is a bully like Jake's bully in American Dragon: Jake Long, Dash of Danny Phantom and Flash Thompson of Spider-Man.
- Squeakus is tricky and clever like Norm the Genie of The Fairly OddParents.
- Bootsy is a somehow parody of Venom, a Spider-Man villain.
- Hovis takes pictures in "Unicorn Club", like Eddie Brock of Spider-Man.
[edit] TV Movie Ideas
Whats "TV Movie ideas?"
- I hope it's some krazy kid whose edits weren't reverted. Below I reproduce the text for historical interest. Hyenaste [citation needed] 23:46, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
TV Movie Ideas
- Rich Known As Hich - Deck the halls with boughs of holly, bring some cookies and milk as you watch the cats' Christmas adventure. Needing a VuGo so bad (they want it because you can record your favorite shows!), they go to the North Pole to help Santa & elves build a VuGo.
- Turkey, Here I Come! - Get ready to eat turkey as you watch the cats' Thanksgiving adventure. After Waffle ruins the turkey, the cats go to the place with lots of great turkey for Thanksgiving: Mars. Unfortunately, when they come home, the leader of the Martians (it turns out that Zinkogorb and Quebafarb are Martians) finds out that somebody stole his turkeys. Realizing that Earth stole the turkeys for Thanksgiving, the Martians invade Bakersville. Now, it's up to the cats to save Bakersville before the Martians' bomb blows up all of Bakersville.
- Waffle, Gordon and Mr. Blik's Excellent Adventure - Stay home for the rest of the day in Presidents' Day as you watch the cats' Presidents' Day adventure. Promising Hovis to stay home, Hovis gives the cats a time-traversing 38-seated bus to have them time-travel to the middle of the past Presidents' Presidency to make sure they don't leave the house. Blik, Gordon and Waffle catch George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, James Monroe, John Quincy Adams, Andrew Jackson, Martin van Buren, William Henry Harrison, John Tyler, James K. Polk, Zachary Taylor, Millard Fillmore, Franklin Pierce, James Buchanan, Abraham Lincoln, Andrew Johnson, Ulysses Grant, Rutherford Hayes, James Garfield, Chester Arthur, Grover Cleveland, Benjamin Harrison, William McKinley, Theodore Roosevelt, William Taft, Woodrow Wilson, Warren Harding, Calvin Coolidge, Herbert Hoover, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Harry S. Truman, Dwight D. Eisenhower, John F. Kennedy, Lyndon B. Johnson, Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan. Now the cats are staying home but now bad people try to kill the Presidents, changing History. Can the cats save history?
- The Cats' BOGUS Journey - An evil villain named Death (Clancy Brown) rebuilds Mecha-Kitties from the episode of the same name and sends them to kill the originals and sending them to The Devils' Home. Once, Mr. Blik, Waffle and Gordon are killed, they are sent to the Devils' turf. Now the cats must get out of the place, meet God and defeat the enemies at all costs.

[edit] Trivia
Is this realy supposed to be there? Camp Lazlo was premiered the day before Catscratch. It seems silly as you could say that it was premiered on a sat/sunday w/e.
