From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Cathy Davey is a Dublin born singer/songwriter. She is most frequently compared to the likes of Björk, PJ Harvey and Kate Bush, and is known for her unique sounds of rock infused with hypnotic tones which create sensitivity alongside angst. Her own personal tastes are limited, though her favourites have been noted to be Tom Waits and Aimee Mann.

Her album, Something Ilk, was recorded in 2003. It had mixed commercial success, though it did lead to a notable and diverse cult following.
