Cathedral City High School first opened in September 1991. It can accommodate a maximum of 2,673 students and enrolled 2,371 in January 2001. [1]

Cathedral City High School is in the Desert Valley League which includes Cathedral City, Coachella Valley, Indio, La Quinta, Palm Desert and Palm Springs.
