Catalina Artusi

Catalina Artusi (born May 24, 1990 in Argentina) is an actress who is perhaps best known for her participation in the Telefe telenovela "Chiquititas".

Artusi's first acting experience came as "Catalina" in "Verano del 98" ("Summer of '98"), in 1998. In "Verano del 98" she participated alongside a number of other "Chiquititas" stars, including Agustina Cherri. The then nine year old actress gained instant celebrity immediately after she joined the "Chiquititas" ("Tiny Angels") staff, during the show's fourth season in 1991, as the soap opera reached international success all over Latin America, as well as Israel, Russia and some other countries.

After leaving "Chiquititas", Artusi participated in 2000's "Luna Salvaje" ("Savage Moon"), after which she took a four year hiatus from screen acting. She kept busy by acting in plays.

Artusi returned to Argentine television in 2004, when she acted alongside Gianella Neyra, among others, in "Luna Salvaje" ("Savage Moon"). Artusi's character had a romantic relationship with the character played by the also young actor Dario Lopilato, brother of Luisana Lopilato, also of "Chiquititas" fame.
