[[The Castle]]

There has been a settlement at Castalla for years with both the Spanish and the Moors having an effect over it, during the Moorish occupation a castle was being setup to complete a chain of castles that lead from Alicante all the Way across to Madrid via such places as Tibi. The castles where built to signal each other and give alerts if there ever was a costal invasion. The castle at Castalla was never finished as the Alhambra was captured by Spanish Forces and the Moors finally driven out of Spain, the castle was handed over to the Spanish government who decided not to complete and so leave it to crumble away.
