Casually Dressed & Deep in Conversation is the debut album of the Welsh post-hardcore band Funeral for a Friend. The album was released on October 20, 2003 through Ferret Records. Produced by Colin Richardson and co-produced by the band. Casually Dressed & Deep in Conversation shows a new direction for the band from Four Ways to Scream Your Name (2002), and displays a more mature and developed sound. The album also features brand-new versions of the songs "Juneau," "Escape Artists Never Die," "Red is the New Black" and "Summer's Dead and Buried" (now called "Waking Up").

The cover of the album is based on the two paintings "The Lovers" [1][2] by the Belgian surrealist artist René Magritte.
