Castelnuovo di Farfa is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Rieti in the Italian region Latium, located about 40 km northeast of Rome and about 20 km southwest of Rieti. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 950 and an area of 9.0 km2.[1]
Castelnuovo di Farfa borders the following municipalities: Fara in Sabina, Mompeo, Montopoli di Sabina, Poggio Nativo, Salisano, Toffia.
