Castelnau-d'Aude is a small village in the Aude region of Southern France.

The village is equi-distant between the cities of Carcassonne and Narbonne.

Castelnau has a fine wine making family, Roland and Anne-Marie Coustal, who make wine under the name Terres Georges.

The village has some basic facilities including a Mayors office, small post-office, shop, rugby field, petanque pitch, tennis court and small church.
