Castello di Serravalle is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Bologna in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 25 km southwest of Bologna. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 4,400 and an area of 39.2 km2.[1]

The municipality of Castello di Serravalle contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Bersagliera, Castelletto, Fagnano, Mercatello, Ponzano - Maiola, Rio ca' de' fabbri, Sant'Apollinare, Tiola, and Zappolino.

Castello di Serravalle borders the following municipalities: Guiglia, Monte San Pietro, Monteveglio, Savignano sul Panaro, Savigno, Zocca.
