Castellina Marittima is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Pisa in the Italian region Tuscany, located about 70 km southwest of Florence and about 35 km southeast of Pisa. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,888 and an area of 45.7 km2.[1]

The municipality of Castellina Marittima contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Le badie, Castellina Marittima stazione, and Spicciano.

Castellina Marittima borders the following municipalities: Cecina, Chianni, Riparbella, Rosignano Marittimo, Santa Luce.

For centuries Castellina has been an important source for alabaster.
