Castell de Castells is a small village high in the mountains of the
Marina Alta
The highest peak of the mountain range Serrella is over 550mts. The remains of an Arabic, Castle Penya Castelet, and many mosarabic trails around the area. An ideal location for walking holidays and becoming very popular with Mountain Bikers. 5kms outside the village in the area known as Petracos are ancient cave paintings said to have been painted over 5000 years ago. The area has a rich history with Three settlements around the village. Petracos, Bitla and Pla d'Alt ( The High Place ) The ruins of these settlements are now being rebuilt as modern homes. For people looking to retire to the countryside.
