Castelfondo is a comune (municipality) in the Autonomous Province of Trento in the Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 45 km north of Trento. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 624 and an area of 25.8 km2.[1]
Castelfondo borders the following municipalities: Brez, Fondo, St. Pankraz (San Pancrazio), Unsere liebe Frau-St. Felix (Senale-San Felice), Laurein (Lauregno).
