[edit] Biography

[edit] Early life

Cassandra Ford was born in Manila, Philippines. Growing up she lived on the Isle of Wight (In the United Kingdom) and attended a convent school. Later her family moved to to Vancouver, British Columbia. She graduated from South Delta Secondary High School.[1]

[edit] Before Music

Before getting serious with the band The Vincent Black Shadow, she was a game tester for EA Games.[2] She said of the experience, "I never thought that was an actual job, and then I sorta fell into it with a friend of mine who got me an interview there.".

[edit] Musical Career

Cassandra has a long musical history with friend Rob Kirkham, first meeting in a bar. Before forming The Vincent Black Shadow with Rob, Cassandra’s talents were called upon in the South Pacific when Universal Philippines invited her down for a record deal. When they scrapped all music she had created with Rob, she realized they were not interested in her talents, they just wanted to turn her into an Asian pop star.[3] After reconnecting with Rob back in Vancouver, they recruited his two other brothers to finally get a band started. Since then, she has signed with bodog records and the band has released their first record Fears in the Water.
