Casper Henningsen (born July 6, 1985) is a Danish professionel football player, who plays at Silkeborg IF in the Danish Superliga. He arrived from smaller club Slagelse B&I in the beginning of 2007, and he has signed a contract lasting to the summer of 2009.
Henningsen is a forward known for a good technique and pace. He has received number 14 at Silkeborg IF.
He made his Silkeborg debut at the indoor soccer Tele2-cup, where he made a series of promising appearances. Henningsen has stated, that he is looking forward to playing as a full time footballer, claiming that, "In the 2. division you had go along with a full time job, strength training and football traning and still be mentally and physically ready for playing football. Now you can just concentrate on training".[1]
Henningsen is also well known in the Danish online game Virtual Manager , where his Team Henningsen is one of the major clubs among thousands of other. How he will divide his time between Silkeborg IF and Virtual Manager remains to be seen.
