Caspar Einem

Caspar (von) Einem (born May 6, 1948) is an Austrian politician (SPÖ).

Casper Einem is the son of Gottfried von Einem and his wife Lianne, née von Bismarck. After studying jurisprudence in Vienna, Einem worked as a probation officer in Vienna and Salzburg.
He is married and has a son.
[edit] Political career
In 1994, Einem became Secretary of State, which boosted his career. From 1995 until 1997 he was Interior Minister of Austria, and later, until 2000, Minister for Science and Traffic.
Since the election victory of ÖVP and FPÖ in 2000, he has been a member of the National Council of Austria.
