Casma is a town in the Ancash Region, Peru. It is located in the Casma Valley.
Some of the largest prehistoric monuments in the world are situated in the Casma Valley and its branch, the Sechin Valley. Sechin Alto was the largest construct in the Americas in the second millennia BCE. The pyramid, plaza, and sunken circular courtyard complexes extended over a kilometer in length.
Its surface includes 1 204,85 km2 the city has like pattern to Santa Maria Magdalena, being celebrated its celebration the 22 of July.
