Casey Royer

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Casey Royer (born October 1958) is an American musician who began his career playing drums for punk band, Social Distortion in 1979. He then moved on to play for The Adolescents from 1980–87. While The Adolescents were on hiatus from 1981–86, Casey went on to form D.I., a Southern California punk band, who are still recording records and touring today. When The Adolescents regrouped in 1986, Casey returned to start working on the new album, Brats in Battalions, but wanting to keep D.I. going, he left before the album was recorded. Casey also jumped on the ADZ bandwagon from 1989–93, after which he again made D.I. his primary focus. Casey then played with The Adolescents until 2002 when he returned once again to D.I. As of D.I.'s reunion, Royer is the only remaining original member.
