Casatenovo is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Lecco in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 30 km northeast of Milan and about 20 km southwest of Lecco. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 12,242 and an area of 12.7 km2.[1]
The municipality of Casatenovo contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Galgiana, Campofiorenzo, Cascina Bracchi, Valaperta, and Rogoredo.
Casatenovo borders the following municipalities: Besana in Brianza, Camparada, Correzzana, Lesmo, Lomagna, Missaglia, Monticello Brianza, Usmate Velate.
