[edit] Hatch: right or wrong

Is there any truth to the following quote by Orrin Hatch: "Take Carol Lam, for instance. .... She was a former law professor, no prosecutorial experience, and the former campaign manager in Southern California for Clinton...." http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/17857501/page/3/ If true, it would be a notable fact. But it seems unlikely. rewinn 23:44, 2 April 2007 (UTC)

No. Hatch later admitted that he was referring to Lam's predecessor. See letter from Hatch here -- Sholom 03:34, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
Thanks. I've followed up and editted the article. It appears his explanation is implausible since Hatch's description doesn't fit the other guy either. But it is, as you say, an admission that it's inaccurate as to Lam. Thanks! rewinn 06:04, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
